Terms of use

Seven-day trial

Review Lab may be evaluated once on a Windows installation for seven consecutive calendar days. The trial includes the local Review Lab feature set, requires an internet connection to begin, does not require payment information, does not renew automatically, and does not create a charge. Attempting to reset, duplicate, or bypass the trial period is not permitted.

License, not ownership

When you purchase ParaScope Review Lab, ParaScope grants you a personal, non-transferable license to use the software on up to two personal Windows computers. The software, documentation, and branding remain the property of ParaScope and its licensors.

Responsible use

You are responsible for obtaining permission to record, review, or share media and for complying with applicable privacy, recording-consent, and evidence-handling requirements. ParaScope does not make findings or conclusions about recordings; analytical labels and candidates are tools for investigator review.

Restrictions

Do not share, sell, transfer, reverse engineer, or attempt to bypass the license system except where applicable law expressly permits it. Do not use the software to violate another person’s rights or applicable law.

Availability and updates

Review Lab is local-first software. Some functions, including license activation, require an internet connection. ParaScope may provide updates, bug fixes, or security changes, but does not promise that every feature will be available forever or on every Windows device.

Refunds and consumer rights

Review Lab purchases are governed by the Refund Policy. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.
